The EAP110 is the entry point into the Omada range — N300 speed (300 Mbps on 2.4GHz only, no 5GHz radio) and a single Fast Ethernet port with passive PoE included in the box, priced for jobs where a room just needs reliable basic Wi-Fi, not multi-gigabit performance.
It still covers a genuine 650 sq ft (60 sqm) and 100+ concurrent devices off two internal 4dBi antennas, which is plenty for a guest room, a small office, or a common area where phones and laptops need a signal, not a 4K stream. A captive portal with SMS authentication is built in for guest network sign-in, a feature a lot of budget APs skip entirely.
The part that actually matters for a multi-AP site: it joins the same Omada SDN controller as every access point above it in the range, so a property mixing EAP110s in low-traffic rooms with EAP670s in busier ones still manages as one network from one dashboard — this is a genuine tier within a managed system, not a consumer AP that happens to share a brand name.
