The EAP670 is TP-Link's answer to the one bottleneck a lot of Wi-Fi 6 upgrades miss: the uplink. AX5400 dual-band speed (4,804 Mbps on 5GHz, 574 Mbps on 2.4GHz) with 160MHz channel support is fast enough that a standard Gigabit port would actually cap it — so this ships with a 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 port instead, keeping the wired side ahead of what the radios can push. Rated for 250+ concurrent clients across up to 1,500 sq ft (140 sqm), it's built for the rooms a cheaper AP struggles with — open-plan offices, meeting floors, retail floors with dozens of phones on the network at once, not a single home office. WPA3 and up to 16 SSIDs across both bands cover a full split of staff, guest, and IoT networks from one unit. Powered by 802.3at PoE or a DC adapter for sites without PoE switching, and joins the same Omada SDN controller as every other AP in the range for centralized management, mesh, and seamless roaming — add a few more EAP670s to a floor and they behave as one network, not three separate ones to configure.
