Overview
This converter sits between a standard 48V PoE source (an 802.3af/at PoE switch or injector) and a device that needs 24V passive PoE, such as many wireless bridges and CPE radios.
Key features
- Plug the PoE switch or injector cable into the input port; the output lead delivers data plus 24V at up to 1A to the device, so it is not damaged by a full 48V.
- Supports gigabit data over runs up to 150m. This is the standard version with a plain RJ45 plug on the output lead — it is not waterproof, so keep it indoors or inside an enclosure. It converts power only: you still need a PoE switch or PoE injector on the input side.
