The OC200 is a dedicated box that comes with the Omada Software Controller pre-installed — plug it in and it's ready, instead of needing a spare PC, a VM, or a cloud subscription just to get centralized management running. It handles a recommended 25 Omada devices (APs, switches, and gateways together) from one dashboard, with real-time network topology and traffic distribution so a fault shows up as a red icon on a map, not a support ticket with no starting point. Inside it's a quad-core chipset in a fanless metal case — silent, and built to sit on a shelf or in a rack without a temperature margin. A USB port handles automatic configuration backups, so a controller failure doesn't mean rebuilding every AP and switch's settings from memory. Power comes from 802.3af/at PoE or a Micro USB adapter, whichever an install already has running to that spot. Once it's up, the Omada app or web UI both reach it the same way they'd reach a cloud or software controller — this is purely a hardware form factor choice, not a different management experience.
