The GXP2135 is Grandstream's answer for a desk that actually takes a lot of calls: 8 lines across 4 SIP accounts, a 2.8-inch 320x240 colour display, and 32 programmable BLF/speed-dial keys so a receptionist or support lead can see line status and transfer calls at a glance instead of hunting through a directory. HD wideband audio runs on both the handset and the full-duplex speakerphone, not just one or the other.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with integrated PoE mean it sits inline between the wall and a workstation without needing its own switch port, and built-in Bluetooth pairs a headset without a USB dongle taking up the phone's only port. Security is handled properly rather than as an afterthought — SRTP and TLS encrypt calls and credentials, which matters more than it sounds once a phone is sitting on the same network as everything else in the office.
Provisions itself with zero configuration against Grandstream's own UCM series PBXs, or via encrypted XML/TR-069 against most other PBX platforms, so rolling out a dozen of these doesn't mean a dozen manual setups. What we spec for reception desks and anyone fielding enough calls that hold/transfer/BLF status genuinely need to be one glance away, not a menu dig.
